‘I’ve been thinking about that for a while’: Mother of missing 5-year-old girl speaks out after her daughter’s bracelet disappeared

The family of a 5-month-old daughter who vanished while in the care of her mother has been in touch with the police and has offered a reward of $10,000 to anyone who helps identify the girl’s bracelet.
Cecilia Flores, the mother of five-yearold Jessica Flores, told the San Jose Mercury News that her daughter has been missing since March and that police are “very frustrated” by her disappearance.
The family told the newspaper that Jessica was reported missing by her father in March after he was unable to locate her from a car stop in Palo Alto, California, and police had no idea where she might be.
The family said that her mother, Jessica Flores’ aunt, reported Jessica missing to the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Department in May.
In a letter sent to the San Francisco Chronicle on Tuesday, Jessica’s aunt, Barbara Hensley, wrote that the family has been through “a lot,” but said the Flores family is “committed to finding Jessica.”
“We are asking anyone with information to contact us, and we are hoping the public can help us to bring justice for our family,” the letter read.
The Flores family has not yet provided an update on how Jessica’s bracelet is being held.
